Travellers need to bring good comfortable walking shoes, sun hat in summer and wind jacket / warmer clothing / beanie in winter. Ross provides two binoculars if whales or native animals sighted.

What happens if a day trip is cancelled?

Depending on emergency services reports i.e. bush fire or severe inclement weather, travellers will receive a full refund if any day trip cancelled.

Bring bathers and comfortable slippers / flip flops / thongs. Towels, robes and lockers provided for those booking the All-Inclusive Package.

Can you provide a Chinese / Mandarin interpreter?

Yes, Ross can provide a conversational Mandarin speaker for Chinese travellers.

Can I bring children / teenagers?

Yes, on all day trips (listed as ‘Driver & Car only’) six people can travel. The 2-day tour to Warnambool / Port Fairy / Great Ocean Road can only take 4 passengers. There is overnight luggage to pack plus a small car fridge in the back of the Discovery. However, in the DRIVER & CAR ONLY OPTION, if only two adults travelling, then up to two children / teenagers can also travel. Similarly, if three adults travelling then one child / teenager can travel. If these options are chosen, with children travelling, the itinerary will change to accommodate their needs and interest.

Can a shorter 5.5-hour half day Bellarine & Surf Coast Tour be booked?

Absolutely. This shorter trip is perfect for professional delegates attending a Geelong conference or their partners and friends wishing to take-a-break. Or Geelong and Bellarine residents wishing to experience their own back yard. The cost for Ross to take up to 4 adult travellers for a half day (5.5 hours) is listed under the Surf Coast & The Bellarine Day Tour.

Can I discuss changing the itinerary?

Yes, more than happy to discuss changes.

Why a 2-day trip to see the Great Ocean Road?

Ross believes you will experience more of the Great Ocean Road than any tours leaving Melbourne or Geelong all travelling in the one direction south and returning the same day. Many tours only go as far as Port Campbell. With our tour you will also experience, south of Port Campbell, the Bay of Islands, The Grotto, London Bridge plus The Arch, and other spectacular sights with more time for sightseeing. Ross drives the full length of the Great Ocean Road, from Warnambool to Torquay, all 244 kilometres.
